Google.com
I know, I know, Google is a search engine! How can you call that a inspirational website? Once you get used to looking past all the clutter and the sponsored listings, there is no better website for finding inspiration for just about anything! Rather than searching through hundreds of images on other websites, just find a good list (e.g. “25 Top Notch Gig Posters”) and skip the junk!
Pinterest.com
Pinterest never seizes to inspire. Heck, they might as well call it “Inspirationalest”! If you can ignore all the feminine fashion and crafty sides of Pinterest, there are some amazing graphic design sides. Just take a quick look at the Design category or the Poster and Illustration category and you will find a wellspring of graphic design inspiration. Defiantly one of my favorite websites!
Behance.net
Behance is a great website for artists to showcase their work. For the most part, it is geared more towards “art” rather than things like gig posters or branding. If that is more of what you are looking for, a quick search will give you TONS of great things to help inspire your next project.
DesignInspiration.net
Design Inspiration is a smaller website, but as you could imagine, it is full of great graphic design inspiration! The whole website has a very classy photo gallery style (a lot like Pinterest). It is full of really awesome material and another one of my favorites!
Flickr.com
In all honesty, Flickr is one of my least favorite websites. I don’t really like the look or feel of the whole site. The reason its on this list is the sheer amount of content flickr has. A quick search can reveal loads of extremely inspirational graphic design content!
There it is! 5 Great websites for Graphic Design Inspiration!
Hopefully you found something useful on one of these sites! Keep in mind that if you find something you really really like, don’t straight up copy it! Make it your own even if it’s easier to just do it how they did it! It is always better to make your own style, not to mention all the copyright problems that can come with copying someones idea!
Be creative!
