This is a really awesome and quick Photoshop tutorial on how to make a stitched fabric effect in Photoshop. Here is what you will be making!
As you can see, this is a pretty cool text effect and has potential to be very useful! It looks complicated but it is actually really easy!
This tutorial is made by Nathan Brown at Wegraphics, a great graphic design website full of awesome tutorials and resources! A cool thing about this tutorial, is he includes some really awesome free fabric patterns for makeing this effect! He even shows you how to install them!
Like I said, this is pretty simple. There are a lot of effects involved in making this, but with the tutorial it’s no problem! I worked through everything exactly as he said and didn’t run into any problems. Feel free to change around settings to get the exact look you want! On the last step (the stroke effects), I found that I really like a pretty heavy stroke with that pattern. It really adds to the stitch effect in my opinion, but try it a few differnet ways!
Hope you enjoy this and get a lot out of it! Here’s the link!
